BCM Hanby Wallace, one of Ireland’s leading law firms, has announced plans to relocate its head office to a new office building of 150,000sqft being developed by Chartered Land, at Grand Canal Square in Dublin’s Docklands.

The Grand Canal Square development comprises two office buildings and a 2,000 seat theatre which is all due to be completed in early 2010. The Square has been designed by international award winning architect Daniel Libeskind and is currently under construction by Sisk. Grand Canal Square is part of the South Docklands being regenerated by the Dublin Docklands Development Authority.

Dominic Deeny, CEO of Chartered Land said ‘We are delighted that BCM Hanby Wallace has decided to relocate to Dublin’s Grand Canal Square, which is emerging as Dublin’s new prime business district.’

BCM Hanby Wallace is one of the fastest growing and most successful law firms in the country. The firm moved to its current offices in the former Children’s Hospital in Harcourt Street just three and a half years ago but already it has outgrown the 50,000 sq. ft. of office space in that building.

The firm employs over 260 staff, and is recognised as a full service law firm featuring among the leading legal advisers in Ireland in a number of core areas of practice. .
