Joseph O'Reilly

Joseph O'Reilly is Chairman, Chartered Land Limited.

Joseph is one of Ireland’s most successful property developers, having initially established his reputation in the homebuilding industry through Castlethorn Construction (a company owned by himself, Liam Maye and John Fitzsimons) which has grown rapidly since 1991 owing to its creation of some of the highest-profile residential developments in the Dublin region, as well as being responsible for Dundrum Town Centre, Ireland’s largest and most successful retail centre.

More recently, he has become established as Ireland’s leading shopping centre developer and is currently creating a number of prime retail and mixed use opportunities in Ireland under his new development company, Chartered Land.

Dominic Deeny

Dominic Deeny is Chief Executive Officer, Chartered Land Limited.

With over 25 years experience in property development, Dominic has lead and directed some of the UK and Ireland’s largest and most successful commercial developments.

Dominic joined Chartered Land in 2006 from Westfield, the world’s largest shopping centre owner, where he held responsibility for the development and asset management of a number of major UK shopping centres and the assessment of new business opportunities. While in this role, Dominic led the development plans for centres including the CastleCourt Shopping Centre, Belfast; The Mill Gate Shopping Centre, Bury and Sprucefield Shopping Centre, Lisburn.

Dominic previously worked with Dunloe Ewart Plc as Development Director with responsibility over group projects in Northern Ireland. He commenced his career as an Estates Surveyor in the Lands Services Department of the Environment of Craigavon.

Dominic is a fellow of the Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors and holds a post-graduate Diploma in Project Management from Reading University

Gary Cooper

Gary Cooper is Project Director, Chartered Land Limited.

Gary's core areas of expertise include the procurement of land, planning and controlling design, construction, feasibilities, marketing, funding, public relations, planning and leasing.

Gary joined Chartered Land from Ballymore Properties where he held the position of Development Manager. He brings a wealth of experience with him, having directed developments including the Whitewater Shopping Centre in Co. Kildare. He has also been involved in extensive retail, commercial, hotel / resort, residential and mixed use schemes across Ireland, the UK, Asia and Australia.

Gary was the founding member of Treasury Holdings Limited, Project Developments where he was involved in major commercial and residential developments housing Institutions such as Bank of Ireland, Merrill Lynch and Vodafone and the planning of the first phase of the Spencer Dock Residential Development, Dublin. He began his career as a Junior Quantity Surveyor with Lend Lease in Australia.

Gary holds a first class honours degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Architecture), Deakin University, Australia. He is a member of Clontarf Golf Club.

Seán Doyle

Seán Doyle is Project Director, Chartered Land Limited.

Seán’s core areas of expertise cover retail, leisure and commercial developments and include planning and controlling design, construction, marketing, leasing and project delivery.

Seán joined Chartered Land from Crossridge Investments Limited where he held the position of Development Manager with responsibility for overall tenant management and integration. Prior to this, he was a Senior Project Manager with Seamus Monahan & Partners. He began his career with PJ Hegarty & Sons in the role of Project Engineer/Project Manager.

Seán brings extensive industry experience to Chartered Land having acted as overall coordinator of tenant issues for the Dundrum Town Centre development as well as Development Manager for the refurbishment and future development of the ILAC Centre. In addition, he has previously held the position of Consultant Project Manager for the Croke Park redevelopment, the National Aquatic Centre development, RTÉ’s corporate headquarters and the National Stadium and Sports Facilities at Abbotstown, Dublin. He has acted as Contracts Project Manager for the refurbishment and extension of Marks & Spencer, Mary St, Dublin, the Grand Canal Plaza office development, Jury’s Custom House Quay Hotel, Dublin and various phases of development for Intel Ireland.

Seán holds a first class honours degree in Building Management from the University of Ulster and an MBA from the Smurfit School of Business, University College Dublin. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).

Frank Martin

Frank Martin is Head of Asset Management, Chartered Land Limited.

Frank’s core areas of expertise include property asset management, accounting and finance.

Prior to joining Chartered Land, Frank was Managing Director of Firmount Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The British Land Company Plc and the Irish operating subsidiary of the British Land group. He previously held the position of Chief Accountant and Company Secretary of KDB (Korea Development Bank) Ireland Limited. He began his career as a Trainee Accountant with Firmount Limited.

Frank has almost twenty years industry experience and has previously worked on the landmark St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre development, the Cherrywood Project and the ILAC Centre.

Frank is a Qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and holds membership of the FCCA.
