We will strive to meet best practice in non-regulated areas, integrating biodiversity considerations into our activities, working in partnership with clients, agents, contractors and other suppliers.

Specific Objectives

Compliance with Environmental Legislation and Best Practice
We are committed to complying with all relevant environmental legislation and will strive to meet best practice in non-regulated areas.

Enhancement and Minimisation of Harm to the Environment
We will aim to minimise the potential for our business activities to cause harm to the environment and, where possible, will take advantage of opportunities to enhance the natural and built environment.

Minimisation of Pollution and Contamination
We will aim to manage our activities to minimise the risk of pollution and contamination.

Biodiversity
We will endeavour to promote the concept and aims of biodiversity by integrating biodiversity considerations into our activities via our appointed consultants and contractors, identifying good working practices, and engaging with local communities, Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and our suppliers in seeking to identify and take advantage of opportunities to enhance biodiversity arising from our development activities.

Environmental Objectives
We will aim to identify appropriate environmental objectives and associated targets that will help us realise these objectives.

Monitoring Compliance
Monitoring Compliance is undertaken as a requirement of the developer by the design team on a regular basis via design, cost appraisal, development review, site review and design detailing meetings.

Effective Communication
We will endeavour to communicate effectively both internally and externally on all environmental issues, in order to contribute towards a culture of environmental awareness within our Company.

Continuous Improvement
We will aim to provide continuous improvement in the performance and management of our EMS, working in partnership with our clients, professional agents, service partners, contractors and other suppliers.
